Der Simmer SX8 Windsurfgabelbaum ist ein High-End Pre-Preg-Carbon Boom, der fast alle der hervorragenden Qualitätsmerkmale der SX10 Gabel der Spitzenklasse aufweist. Die Monocoque-Carbon-Karosserie und -Endstück machen die SX8 extrem steif, stark, leicht und das zu einem unschlagbar guten Preis!

Für maximalen Fahrkomfort verfügt der SX8 über einen superdünnen Griff. Wir variieren den verwendeten Durchmesser je nach Länge; 25 mm beim 140er und 150er Ausleger und 27 mm beim 180er Ausleger. Die Outline wurde speziell für jede Größe entwickelt, um die bestmögliche Rig-Dynamik zu fördern. Der Gabelbaumkopf ist für maximalen Halt am Mast ausgelegt. Mit einer hohen Reibungskontaktfläche zum Mast und einem Hebel, mit dem Sie beim Spannen mühelos Hochspannung aufbringen können. Das Double-Pin-Lock-System sorgt für eine optimale Lastverteilung und eine steife Verbindung zwischen Gabelbaum-Monoquoe-Carbon-Körper und Carbon-Endstück auch bei maximaler Ausladung.

EXTERNAL TAIL FITTINGS
External tail fittings provide two main advantages compared to a integrated fitting solution:
1. Lower weight.
2. Stronger tail end. No weak points in the mould.

 

DOUBLE PIN LOCK
For presice load distrubtion the SX boom series all feature the double pin lock system for a stiff connection between the boom body and tail end, even when maximally extended.

 

RDM SHIM
All SX8 booms include a integrated shim for RDM masts.

THE BOOM HEAD
The Simmer boom head is designed for maximum grip to the mast. With a high friction contact surface against the mast, the boom will stay in place even during hard landings. A robust rope hook for superb stability and a boom lever that allows you to effortless apply tension when securing the boom to its correct position.

 

OUTLINE AND TAIL WIDTH
The outline and width of the tail are crucial for the rig to deliver the right balance between power and control. The outline on the 140 and 150 booms are designed specifically for the wavesails with a wider tail and closer riding position in the front. The SX8 180 boom is designed for control flatwater sailing. A wider tail generates more power and a more narrow tail piece more control. This position varies with the wind strength and windsurfing discipline, therefor each boom size have been developed individually.
